But if you need to modify a screen, add a parameter or migrate to another model, that backup may have limitations.<\/p>\n<p>Restoring operation and editing a project are different tasks.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 A backup may allow you to restore the panel without providing an editable project.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 The source project is needed to make changes in the engineering software.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 Recovery and migration options depend on the manufacturer, HMI model, software and saved file format.<\/p>\n<p>At equipment handover, check more than the existence of a folder named \u201cBackup\u201d. Does it contain the current source project? Which software version opens it?
